Music at Park Royal

Park Royal United Church is proud to offer an active music program, with ensembles rehearsing and performing from September through June. Our community often welcomes professional guest musicians for Sunday services, and our sanctuary hosts a variety of concerts.

Park Royal Choir

Led by Music Director Andrea Ellis with pianist Sharon Cameron

A fun, supportive group of singers with a wide range of musical backgrounds. The choir helps lead services by offering anthems approximately every 2–3 weeks and participates in concerts and community events.

Rehearsals

Thursdays · 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the sanctuary

Sundays (anthem weeks) · 9:45 am rehearsal before service

Grace Notes

Began in 2020 — a small group of musicians providing musical leadership for worship

What started as a few people gathering to play and sing for fun soon grew. When the group began presenting regularly, we needed a name. 'Grace Notes' was suggested — and it stuck.

Tuesdays · 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the parlour

Uke Group

Led by Machaela Osowski, assisted by Andrea Ellis

An intergenerational ensemble open to all. Members learn basic ukulele technique while playing and singing hymns. Bring your own ukulele, or borrow one from the church's collection. Enriches worship on selected Sundays Nov–June.
