At Park Royal, caring for one another is at the heart of who we are. As we support and uphold each other within our congregation, we also reach outward — responding with compassion, creativity, and generosity to the needs of our wider community in Parkdale and across Charlottetown.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Volunteer knitters gather to create handmade prayer shawls — tangible expressions of comfort, care, and prayer — shared with those experiencing illness, loss, or transition.

Visitation Team

Dedicated volunteers offer presence and connection by visiting members of our community who may be isolated, homebound, or in need of companionship.

Party Picnic Table

Inspired by 'A Place at the Table' and '100 Tables', our portable picnic table pops up at local community events — including bringing hot chocolate to UPEI students during exam season.

Parkdale School Partnerships

We support Parkdale School through gift card drives, White Gift Christmas presents, and ongoing relationship-building with students and families.

Mitten & Hat Tree

Each winter, the congregation collects warm hats and mittens for local schools — Parkdale, L.M. Montgomery, and Prince Street.

Monthly Food Bank Support

Park Royal makes regular donations to The Upper Room Food Bank, helping address food insecurity in our community.

Pride Parade

Alongside other United Churches in the area, Park Royal proudly participates in the Charlottetown Pride Parade — a visible sign of welcome, inclusion, and affirmation.

Coldest Night of the Year

Park Royal forms a team each year for the Coldest Night of the Year walk, raising funds and awareness for those experiencing homelessness.

Park Royal Lighthouse

Each month, we support a local outreach project. Members suggest and help choose recipients — letting our giving reflect shared passions and local needs.
